Windows 11 flips CUDA device order and slows ComfyUI as Nvidia drops Win10
BahBah1970 · reddit · 2026-10-14
A dual-GPU (5070ti + 5060ti) ComfyUI user found Windows 11 swaps the CUDA device ordering shown in Task Manager while ComfyUI still enumerates GPUs in the Windows 10 order — so changing launch flags based on Win11's display picks the wrong card. ComfyUI also starts slower on Win11. With Nvidia ending Win10 driver support, local-AI users are being pushed onto a worse option.
