Starship launch cadence capped near 145/year at current sites, a bottleneck for orbital compute
JOBhakdi · x · 2026-10-14
Analyst JOBhakdi claims SpaceX will hit a ceiling of about 145 Starship flights per year across its current TX and FL sites — far short of what orbital AI compute buildout starting in 2028 would need — making the $100B Louisiana Starbase II its most critical project. Cited FAA filings propose raising Starbase from 25 launches/50 landings per year to 100/200 in Phase 1 and up to 456 launches in Phase 2.
