Anthropic's Jack Clarke moves full RSI timeline forward to 2027
kimmonismus · x · 2026-10-14
Jack Clarke at Anthropic has revised his recursive self-improvement (RSI) timeline, now saying full RSI is more likely possible in 2027, moving it up from 2028.
He views creativity as the key variable: earlier this year AI hadn't shown transformative creativity, but rapid progress on math breakthroughs and AI-research benchmarks like TasteVal (P-Zero Research) changed his mind.
The poster adds that 2026 may be the last "normal" year.
