Agents Pixel Dungeon: a pixel-art dashboard to monitor Claude Code, Codex, Kiro and Gemini CLI
NachoV125 · reddit · 2026-10-14
A developer open-sourced Agents Pixel Dungeon, a native macOS/Linux app that visualizes multiple coding agents as heroes in a pixel-art dungeon.
Highlights:
- One room per project, one hero per harness (Claude Code, Codex, Kiro, Gemini CLI), reflecting live agent state
- Click a room to open the agent's live console: answer prompts, pick options, or stop it
- Full-screen view with changed files, diffs, and the branch's PR
- "Guild HP" shows remaining plan usage as HP and mana
It sits on top of Herdr, which runs the agents' terminals and streams events; without Herdr it degrades to a read-only viewer that detects agents in any terminal. Free and open source on GitHub.
