Gemini 4 Argon for robotics: 87% on ERQA, zero-shot Spot control and real2sim workflows
cuijiaxun · x · 2026-10-14
Google's official blog showcases Gemini 4 Argon across the robotics stack. The model scores 87% on the Embodied Reasoning (ERQA) benchmark via pure reasoning, beating all other frontier models. Demoed workflows include: zero-shot control of a Boston Dynamics Spot via a self-built MuJoCo digital twin, real2sim reconstruction from camera feeds or sketches, agentic hindsight labeling for physical understanding, and iterative self-improvement on hardware.
