Physical Intelligence launches Pi API beta for fine-tuning π robotic foundation models
chelseabfinn · x · 2026-10-14
Physical Intelligence (π) announced the Pi API beta: developers upload robot data, fine-tune π0/π0.5-class foundation models on Pi-managed compute, and access the tuned models via a hosted inference gateway — no ML infra or data pipelines needed. The company says the latest model offers more data-efficient fine-tuning and improved capability, that it will keep upgrading models behind the API, and it is expanding beta access with open signup.
