Anthropic's engineering blog details how Claude-driven coding pushed monorepo merges from 2,500/day in May to 30,000+/day in September (30,401 on Sep 9), bottlenecking human-scale infra. Seven engineers built Scion, a new version control system, and fully migrated off Git in five months — with 200x less infrastructure and 100x faster checkouts.
