Stanford HAI names 15 new Data Science Scholars across nine disciplines

Stanford HAI announced its latest cohort of 15 Data Science Scholars, a two-year fellowship for Stanford PhD students. This year's cohort spans computer science, statistics, law, neuroscience, sociology, education, physics, materials science, and business, with research from AI governance and cyber conflict to protein design and how the brain builds world models. The program aims to build a critical mass of early-career researchers covering foundations, applications, and societal implications of AI and data science.
