Google has rolled out Gemini 4 Argon globally via the Gemini API, to Pro + Ultra users in the Gemini app, and to Ultra subscribers in Antigravity. Logan K says the model was battle-tested by 100,000+ Googlers over the past month after 6 months of full-stack work, and has been available to cyber defenders via the fairwind program for two weeks. Economist Daniel Rock, after weeks of use, calls Argon his favorite for economics-related work, praising its balance between rigorous testing and executing specs, noting it occasionally cuts corners much like Claude/Astra.
