Write your own PR descriptions, even when agents write the code

A Laravel engineering blog post argues developers should write their own PR descriptions even when agents do most of the implementation, for two reasons:
- Writing is a checkpoint. When agents handle the code, tests, commit messages and PR descriptions, nothing forces you to actually understand the change: what changed, why, and what consequences aren't obvious from the diff.
- Reviewers need your context, not a diff summary. An agent-generated description restates the code changes; it can't replace the author's explanation of motivation and background.
The author doesn't dispute that agents write more comprehensive descriptions — the point is that this is one of the few remaining touchpoints keeping teams connected to their code in agent-driven development. rseroter endorsed it: if you "own" the change and care how the software works, write it yourself.
