soleio · x · 2026-10-14
Designer soleio (former Google, led Chrome/Google+ design) argues that in the deepfake era, verification networks will become very big — combining proof-of-reality with portable social proof.
He draws an analogy to auto safety evolution: seat belts, airbags, collision detection, FSD — new tech solves old problems while creating new ones to solve. Progress, he concludes, is a growing root system, not a Rubik's cube you solve once.
