Paste any Shadertoy shader into ComfyUI: kubakub nodes 0.4 adds shader-to-diffusion workflows
Puzzled_Parking2556 · reddit · 2026-10-13
A developer has released kubakub nodes 0.4, a ComfyUI node pack that lets you paste any shader from shadertoy.com (Buffer tabs included) straight into ComfyUI, with 74 built-in presets.
Key capabilities and updates:
- Shaders can be used as masks, as material painted into regions, or as a rough guide that LTX turns into finished video while preserving the motion
- A new unified sound node lets everything listen to one audio source
- Trellis or Hunyuan3D models can be aligned onto real buildings so forms grow out of the wall, as shown in the demo image of colorful organic shapes bursting from a classical facade
No new packages required, and starter workflows run without any models. The author notes it's only tested on one Windows machine and welcomes bug reports. Available on GitHub and via ComfyUI Manager.
