HMC-000: a from-scratch BLDC controller for robot actuators with Rust FOC firmware
wavefnx · x · 2026-10-13
The author shows off the HMC-000, a high-performance sensored BLDC controller built for robotic actuators: the PCB is designed from the ground up, and the firmware is Rust-based FOC written to avoid issues found in existing controllers. It will power his upcoming actuators — a useful reference build for robotics hardware hackers.
