Anima: open-source Claude Code skill turns biology concepts into interactive figures
zealshama · reddit · 2026-10-13
A developer released Anima, an MIT-licensed Claude Code skill that builds interactive scientific figures instead of static diagrams. Claude Code follows the skill's workflow to gather references, model the mechanism, generate isometric SVG geometry, and produce a standalone interactive HTML page with controls, animations, explanations and citations, distinguishing established mechanisms from simplified models. Six examples cover dopamine receptors, stimulants, reward circuits, semaglutide, estrogen signaling and neuron conduction. Gallery: anima.arcumet.com; source on GitHub.
