Teknium patches Hermes Agent so stable installs stay on stable, rollbacks stop triggering update prompts
Teknium · x · 2026-10-13
NousResearch's Teknium submitted PR #137780 fixing the installer bug reported in #137714, saying it will merge and ship shortly.
Key changes:
- Installer reruns keep channels (install.sh/install.ps1): if config.yaml records a non-main channel under update.installs.<id>.channel, the existing checkout keeps its position; upgrades are owned by hermes update;
- Rollbacks no longer misread as updates: every update surface now identifies older stable releases as rollbacks;
- Also includes @KoNit-K's statusbar/palette channel fix from #137728, kept with authorship.
