Dev Calls for 'Logic Checkers' as Rules Keep Failing Only at Runtime
MarcJSchmidt · x · 2026-10-13
Developer Marc J. Schmidt argues that while code tooling has long had type and memory checkers, we still lack logic checkers. Writing down rules only to see them fail at runtime after hours of debugging, he says, feels like writing JavaScript without types again — pointing to a gap in AI-assisted coding: validating business logic and invariants earlier, beyond static checks.
