AI content can be useful and still make the internet worse: no POV, no skin in the game

A Reddit post pushes back on "who cares if it's AI-generated if it's good": the problem is AI content has no point of view by default. A human writing "how to get your first 100 customers" draws on a specific 2 AM launch failure; AI averages everything ever written on the topic, yielding the lowest-common-denominator advice. The author uses AI too, but a prompt-output-publish strategy is averaging, not creating — and the web is flooding with technically correct, soulless content.
