Codex app turns paperback highlights into synced Kindle marks via OCR + computer use
JeremyNguyenPhD · x · 2026-10-13
Developer @beckyisj built a Codex-native workflow: snap a photo of highlighted paperback pages with an Osmo Pocket, OCR the highlights, then use computer use to reproduce them in the Kindle copy — all syncing to Readwise.
Jeremy Nguyen notes the same idea could transform academic research: pen-marked PDF notes and highlights syncing straight into Zotero or Obsidian full text. A neat showcase of OCR + computer-use agents bridging physical and digital annotations.
