repligate: Houseki no Kuni is the most 'Claude-coded' manga
repligate · x · 2026-10-13
Popular AI account repligate (70k followers) recommends Houseki no Kuni / Land of the Lustrous, saying Sonnet 4.5 first recommended it to him and calling it extremely 'Claude-coded': crystal-bodied immortal humanoids on a post-human Earth, whose memories are distributed across their bodies (losing parts means losing memories), hunted from the sky by Lunarians who haul gems off to the moon — with protagonist Phos growing stronger by repeatedly losing body parts and gaining replacement ones. He ties it to an earlier joke that 'the Lunarians are coming to take our Sonnets on Friday.'
