bindureddy · x · 2026-10-13
Airbyte founder Bindu Reddy mocks Anthropic's new warning that small AI models may soon self-replicate on commercial IoT devices, saying the lab seems determined to prove AI is an existential threat.
Her counter: small models are mostly harmless and can't break into the NSA — and millions of them already sit around the internet with direct network access. If self-replication were a real threat, it would have happened by now.
