Dev builds Codex-native app to sync paperback highlights to Kindle via OCR
danshipper · x · 2026-10-12
A developer shared a Codex-built app that transfers highlights from paperbacks to ebooks: an Osmo Pocket camera photographs the highlighted page, OCR extracts the text, and a computer-use agent highlights the matching passage on the Kindle copy, with everything syncing to Readwise. A neat photo + OCR + agent pipeline for paper-to-ebook note migration.
