Dev builds browser game with Claude to explain DriftproofHQ, an open-source Claude skills regression tester

After being told his explanation of DriftproofHQ was 'more unreadable than Opus,' an indie developer built a free browser game — Train Your Replacement — to demonstrate the tool's core idea: your boss bought an AI robot to do your job, and your last responsibility is teaching it how. After one jump-button tutorial, the robot wins Employee of the Month.
- DriftproofHQ tests whether your Claude Skills (saved task instructions) actually help, and whether they survive model updates, by repeatedly running the same tasks with and without the skill so you can compare results.
- The game itself was written with Claude's API (robot movement, jumping, collisions), with Codex helping on integration and browser testing; earlier versions were too confusing and got heavily cut.
- The DriftproofHQ tool is open source on GitHub; the game is free, no signup, mobile-friendly.
