Solo dev ships Scape: Claude Code executes, Codex reviews in adversarial loop
croovies · reddit · 2026-10-12
Developer Elliot shares Scape, an AI-native workspace he's built for 9 months (macOS, local storage, no accounts): your work on the left, agents on the right — agents can drive the workspace and message each other across harnesses and models, with bring-your-own CLI subscriptions like Claude Code and Codex.
Key workflow: Claude Code as executor, Codex as adversarial reviewer, iterating on plans and PRs until consensus. It burns more tokens but lets him step away until code is ready for QA; total failures just get tossed. Scape also has "flight plans" — shared editable docs with parallel threads resolving into action items — plus local custom dashboards/tools that both humans and agents use via MCP.
Bootstrapped, Scape already covers its infra costs and even pays for extra Claude Code Max accounts.
