Sumitomo Bakelite to double MUF capacity in China, Singapore amid AI chip demand

Japan's Sumitomo Bakelite will add production lines for mould underfill (MUF) materials and compression-moulding granules at its Suzhou and Singapore facilities, its second China expansion announcement in under four months as AI drives demand for advanced packaging materials.
