Google DeepMind researcher and IMO gold medalist ChrSzegedy says a prominent figure rarely says clearly idiotic things, but has made several not-too-smart AI assessments over the past three years that turned out to be quite wrong. In follow-up discussion he names Terry Tao and Judit Polgar as people who don't assess AI's trajectory realistically.
