A developer open-sourced samsung-notes-mcp, a read-only MCP server for Samsung Notes (.sdocx), which has no API.
- 6 tools: overview, list/search, read note, page image, attachment, save copies; listed in the official MCP Registry, GPL-3.0
- PDFs return as text plus page images; handwriting is OCR'd by Claude reading page images; tall pages split under the image budget
- Demo: "find every 2026 invoice, table them, save copies named YYYY-MM-DD Vendor Total Currency"
- Read-only: never modifies notes; zero config with Samsung Notes for Windows or a folder of exported .sdocx
