Typing is the wrong interface for running multiple coding agents
Kindly_Leader4556 · reddit · 2026-10-11
A developer running Claude Code and Codex in parallel argues the bottleneck of multi-agent coding isn't models but the typing interface:
- One agent in one terminal works fine; with two or three, the day becomes constant terminal-switching and repeated checking
- Agents often sit stuck on a question for minutes before you notice
- The fix is saying "tell the second one to skip the migration" without switching, plus a team view showing who's working, stuck, or done
- The author built Ginu, a free tool that plugs into existing Claude Code/Codex setups with exactly that team view
He's more interested in the argument: what do your multi-agent setups look like?
