Dev Uses Claude to Build Open-Source ComfyUI ⇄ PhotoCraft Bridge Nodes
al-aSak · reddit · 2026-10-10
A developer used Claude to create two ComfyUI nodes bridging ComfyUI and PhotoCraft via its control channel — no PhotoCraft plug-in needed:
- Get Image node: receives an 8-bit PNG, mask, width/height, and a prompt from PhotoCraft (prompts come via its Notes feature, multiple notes appended), integrable into almost any workflow.
- Send Image node: sends the generated image back to PhotoCraft as its own flattened layer.
You design and prompt in PhotoCraft, execute in ComfyUI. Installation requires setting up a directory and feeding command lines to PhotoCraft per the GitHub instructions; limits and security notes included. Open source at the linked repo.
