HTMLSlides: free open-source AI skill turns prompts into presentable HTML decks
kamathsblog · x · 2026-10-11
A free, open-source desktop app plus AI skill called HTMLSlides turns any prompt into a polished HTML presentation, working with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Cursor and Windsurf. Everything is inlined into a single HTML file with no build step; it ships 12 interactive components (flip cards, code blocks, charts, timelines, comparisons), generates AI speaker notes, and includes a dual-display presenter mode. A bare frontend-slides skill is also installable from GitHub; fully offline, no account needed.
