Boring Company Uses Factory Floor as Classroom for UT Austin Rover-Building Course
XFreeze · x · 2026-10-10
The Boring Company has turned its factory floor into a classroom: an Applied Engineering course at the University of Austin, taught by TBC engineers, has students competing in teams to design and build rovers that can navigate an obstacle course.
Instead of learning from textbooks, students get hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and solving real engineering challenges alongside people who build real systems.
