Job seekers now feed their ChatGPT chat history to AI recruiters
mallow610 · x · 2026-10-11
A new job-hunting pattern is emerging: candidates ask ChatGPT to generate, "from an objective perspective based on our previous conversations," a document showcasing their strengths, weaknesses, personality style and other job-relevant metrics — then send it over to the hiring side's AI recruiter.
In effect, one's long-running ChatGPT history becomes a trusted data source for personality and capability, letting AI match candidate to role — a concrete signal of hiring workflows getting increasingly agentic.
