Hacker uses DeepSeek to crack DJI Pocket3 protocol in half a day, builds PC control CLI
IgorCarron · x · 2026-10-10
@williambao used DeepSeek V4 Flash to reverse-engineer the DJI Pocket3 communication protocol in half a day, then built a CLI tool for shooting, preview, and gimbal control from a computer.
Days earlier he cracked the protocols of a desktop camera and an RGB light the same way, enabling unified PC control of his whole filming rig. IgorCarron reshared it as a sign of the wild era of AI-assisted protocol reverse engineering.
