Remote_Book · reddit · 2026-10-10
The author was a diehard Claude Code fan for the first half of the year but left over lock-in concerns. After trying OpenCode, Codex CLI, Pi, Omp, and even the DeepSeek harness, they settled on Pi as their daily driver, calling it the most token-efficient coding harness out there.
They also open-sourced several "Benchmaxxed" Pi extensions (GitHub: GaganSD/pi-extensions) as a starting point for new Pi users.
