asc CLI enables iOS builds on Linux: ad-hoc IPA, signing and upload as separate steps
rudrank · x · 2026-10-10
asc CLI adds an iOS build pipeline on Linux. --ad-hoc produces a local test IPA without any Apple identity — Apple won't accept it and it won't install on a normal iPhone, but it proves the pipeline.
Signing and packaging run via asc builds package with the app path, IPA path, .p12 identity, password file and provisioning profile; the tool checks profile trust, expiry and bundle ID first. Upload is a separate step: asc builds upload --app APPID --ipa ./artifacts/App.ipa --wait.
