Six-month-old Archon Robotics demos whole-body intelligence: humanoid fetches toys by climbing a step stool
机器之心 · wechat · 2026-10-10
Archon Robotics (Yuance Weilai), founded six months ago, has shown its first systematic real-robot results for "whole-body intelligence": the robot fetches a plush toy by hauling over a step stool and climbing it, plus low-level bottle pickup, righting a fallen bicycle, boxing and shelving, pressing a rice cooker button, wiping tables, and operating a dishwasher — verified on both Unitree G1 and Accelerate Evolution T2 bodies.
The stack pairs the self-developed S0 whole-body controller (foot trajectories, torso posture, center-of-mass transfer) with S1 for task organization. Training uses the EgoBody egocentric whole-body experience dataset, human-demonstration pretraining, real-robot post-training, and DAgger correction loops.
Founders previously led UniAD (CVPR 2023 Best Paper), AgiBotWorld, ByteDance's Egonomy, and Huawei's ADS 4.0 WorldEngine.
