Developer Nathaniel Redmon shared major progress on a racing simulator built entirely in ThreeJS, drawing comparisons to Gran Turismo 5.
Key updates:
- A full IMSA GT3 grid implemented and tuned
- Massive suspension and geometry improvements (reactive camber, toe, slip, better bump tuning), all aligned to the IMSA GT3 rulebook
- Upgraded textures, graphics, and lighting; interior sound still a work in progress
The whole thing runs in the browser, showing how far web-based graphics and physics simulation can be pushed.
