Researcher: Education should reward contributing to human progress, not justice activism
Afinetheorem · x · 2026-10-10
Afinetheorem argues, after Roots of Progress discussions, that the key cultural shift needed is making "knowing how to contribute to the human standard of living" the goal for young people, rather than "standing up for justice" or self-actualization. He adds that education's purpose is a choice we can make: people should know how to create progress and gain social status from it.
