Dev demos Poppy personal agent protocol on Pi Durable, betting on OAuth, MCP and open standards
irvinebroque · x · 2026-10-10
Developer irvinebroque built a demo of the newly announced Personal Agent Protocol (Poppy) using Pi Durable, deployed on Cloudflare — showing an agent handling exchange of order #1042.
He highlights that the protocol's best feature is its heavy bet on existing standards — OAuth, CIMD, dPoP, MCP, OpenAPI — meaning anyone with a remote MCP server today has a clear adoption path. Cloudflare also voiced support for being part of the effort.
