Claude Code Autonomously Fixed an Old Bug, Shipped the PR, and Scripted the Data Repair
mhmazur · x · 2026-10-10
Developer mhmazur recounts letting Claude Code work autonomously on his SaaS: it found a small bug he'd introduced years ago, opened and deployed a PR on its own, measured how many production records were affected, and — lacking permission to write to the production database — wrote a Ruby repair script and added a backlog item with the exact scp/ssh commands needed. The PR is linked.
