Dotey on AI coding loop: fast feedback cycles plus parallel tasks beat raw speed
dotey · x · 2026-10-10
Dotey describes his AI-assisted development workflow: every feature and bug fix runs in a tight loop of problem definition → agent generation → fast verification. Since every step returns feedback quickly, the faster the loop spins, the higher the throughput.
Once the loop is running, multiple tasks can run in parallel: the agent spends most of its time generating and verifying, leaving the human free to focus on framing problems and checking results.
He names his current bottlenecks as not enough local machines and token budget, and plans to shift more tasks to cloud-based agents to work around the hardware limit.
