Microsoft ships Decision-1, a Qwen3.5-9B-based fast decision model on Foundry

Per testingcatalog, Microsoft released Microsoft-Decision-1 on Foundry, a fast single-pass decision-scoring model post-trained on Qwen3.5-9B. Microsoft claims the highest accuracy across 36 blind benchmarks (150k questions), 4.5x faster than runner-up Quyet-1.0-Large and 35x faster than GPT-6 Sol. It's already used internally for incident response, QC, and scientific discovery, with plans to rebase on MAI and OpenAI models.
