MagicalTux (Mt.Gox founder) reports that a Ledger hardware wallet he purchased from Malaysia came with a spy implant, despite flawless shrink wrap. The implant is cleverly hidden where the screen's padding is supposed to be, making it nearly invisible at first glance. He urges users to follow Ledger's official guidance to inspect their devices for tampering.
