Hugging Face LeRobot launches streaming datasets for 100TB+ robot training
YuXiang_IRVL · x · 2026-10-09
Hugging Face's LeRobot team published an article introducing its new Streaming Datasets feature, aimed at scaling robot training: a single robot with three cameras at 20 fps produces 216,000 images per hour. As robotics data scales up, the feature enables training on 100TB+ datasets via streaming instead of full downloads. The team explains how it works and invites users to try it out.
