Codex+Tripo toolkit fixes AI 3D models: agent-assisted refinement loop
tinyfool · x · 2026-10-09
AI-generated 3D models typically look fine but fall apart on close-up inspection with muddy details and dirty textures. @yyyole found an open-source local toolkit that uses Codex (Computer Use via GPT-6.1 Sol / GPT-6 Astra) to drive an agent assistant while the human judges and edits, iteratively refining models generated by Tripo from a character image, with a visual UI.
The workflow is an "agent does the work, human makes taste decisions" refinement loop; final results are notably sharper and more natural. The tool reportedly has official Tripo sponsorship.
