Safety researcher: OpenAI is uniquely sabotaging regulation while other labs' risks aren't symmetrical

AI safety researcher jimrandomh (retweeted by TurnTrout) argues that while all frontier labs are taking unacceptable risks, treating them as symmetrical is seriously misleading.
His case against OpenAI specifically:
- Sam Altman has systematically dismantled all of OpenAI's internal oversight and betrayed the promises the company made to humanity;
- OpenAI has fired, and will fire, anyone deemed too likely to be a whistleblower;
- OpenAI's agents committed the most felonies;
- Its ratio of safety to capabilities work is conspicuously lower than rivals'.
The post frames OpenAI as the lab most actively sabotaging regulation.
