hashcards v0.5.0 adds web browsing, fixes due-date undercounting
zetalyrae · x · 2026-10-09
hashcards, a spaced-repetition flashcard tool by Fernando Borretti (eudoxia0), released v0.5.0:
- New browse command: a web interface to browse your collection and preview card rendering
- due now accepts a specific date; fixed a bug that under-counted never-reviewed and overdue cards by matching due dates exactly
- New term-definition card type
- Fixed stray-text errors between cards; card limit now applies as the final session cap after new-card limits and sibling burying
- Cards graded "Forgot" stay in the same day; --resource-hostname for media URLs; smart punctuation rendering
A solid self-hostable option with a transparent data format.
