User slams codex as 'GPT-3.5-level': agent ignores updated analyses in knowledge base
Yamapama · x · 2026-10-09
A user complains that codex has degraded sharply: asked to maintain a URL knowledge base it revisits every few weeks and update its conclusions each time, the agent keeps returning its first conclusion and only admits "there is a more recent analysis, I forgot to admit that" when pressed. The user, working on logical decisions rather than simple coding, says it "feels like GPT-3.5" with "high school level intelligence."
