GPT-6.1 Sol "Ultrafast" clocks in at just ~49 tok/s in user API speed test
RexDouglass · x · 2026-10-09
A user on a $100 ChatGPT Pro subscription (with about $2 left in their OpenAI Playground balance) tested "GPT-6.1 Sol ULTRAMOTHERFUCKINGFAST" via the API: 12,566 output tokens in 4 minutes 16 seconds — roughly 49 tok/s. They call the so-called "Ultrafast" speed pretty horrible and may retest to confirm.
