Matt Pocock calls out Anthropic's plugin marketplace for stranding users on stale versions
mattpocockuk · x · 2026-10-09
Matt Pocock publicly asked Anthropic to bump the pinned version of mattpocock/skills in the official Claude plugin marketplace: it's stuck on v1.2.3 (commit c55ee460) while upstream has tagged v1.3.1, so all users are frozen on the old release.
The GitHub issue explains that a Close External PRs workflow automatically rejects non-member PRs touching existing entries, so outsiders can't submit upgrades — only file issues and wait for a manual sha bump. The post doubles as a call to automate this update process.
