Hone raises $60M seed from Benchmark and Index to launch outcome-owning AI Engines

Carlo Willem announced that Hone, founded five months ago with Moritz Stephan and Oliver Brady, raised a $60M seed led by Benchmark and Index Ventures, alongside the launch of AI Engines: persistent agents that own business outcomes.
The thesis: between personal agents booking flights and frontier labs solving Navier-Stokes sits a quiet gap where most organizations see no measurable AI return. Existing products assist individual tasks with no accountability, while org-level options are lengthy custom builds.
An Engine is pointed at a critical business outcome; it onboards itself, builds its own agents, skills, and memories, and is measured on real business metrics.
